Balenciaga Glitter Tape Print Crew Neck Short Sleeve T-Shirt

Made from 12S fine cotton plain weave fabric with a weight of 230g/m²; paired with 32-count double yarn ribbing, weighing 350g/m². 12S is a low-count coarse yarn, with relatively thick yarn diameter and naturally rich surface fuzz, resulting in a fabric with visible texture and a rustic rough feel. The fabric weight positions it as heavyweight, giving it a firm structure and substantial body, allowing the silhouette to hold clearly without collapsing when worn. The cotton fibers are combed to remove short fibers and impurities, ensuring that even with low-count yarn, the fabric remains pure and skin-friendly. The double-yarn ribbing is extremely dense, thick, and resilient; the extra-heavy ribbing provides strong structural support, and the 1×1 ribbing structure gives the neckline high elasticity and excellent recovery.

The front and back are decorated with glitter tape type art print. The glitter foam print is the core craft of this T-shirt, with the artwork printed on both front and back using this technique. The foam printing is done by adding a foaming agent to the printing paste; during high-temperature drying, the foaming agent decomposes, causing the resin layer to expand and form a three-dimensional raised effect, with a thickness of 1-3mm, resembling the texture of tape adhered to the surface. The glitter effect is achieved by mixing fine glitter particles into the foam paste, which suspend within the foamed resin layer and create sparkling reflections under light.

The print is hot-air dried at 80°C, then subjected to high-temperature foaming at 150-185°C, causing the paste to expand to the predetermined thickness while the glitter is fixed on the surface and inside the foam layer. Layered tape effects are achieved through multiple print overlays, combining different widths and transparencies of foam strips to simulate the texture of stacked tape layers. The raised foam layer height and fine glitter particles together create a dual tactile and visual impact: a noticeable three-dimensional texture to the touch and a sparkling dynamic sheen visually.

Unlike standard loose fits, the oversized version reserves extra room in key areas such as shoulders, chest, and armholes. The shoulder seam drops significantly to mid-upper arm or below, the chest width far exceeds the actual body size, and the sleeves are extremely loose and straight. The design logic aims to combine architectural shaping with effortless relaxation, with the fabric draping naturally over the body, creating smooth folds and space at the shoulders and waist.
