Loewe Anagram Tannin Denim Shorts

Custom blue silk-dense cotton denim, with a white Anagram hollowed-out imprint engraved above the knees, intertwining blue and white— a collision of nature and art.

Using laser cutting, the pant legs are manually torn open, flattened for laser-cut Anagram patterns, then hand-applied with inner fabric patches, and finally sewn on by hand. Labor costs are high, material loss is significant, and daily production is low.

Using a washing and color-fading process, a specially made de-sizing agent is first chosen, then the fabric is soaked evenly to remove sizing, followed by final rinsing. The process is extremely complex and results in high material loss.
