Loewe Shirt-Style Wool Coat

Crafted from a carefully selected blend of 98% high-quality wool and 2% cashmere, this reversible coat combines warmth with breathability. Only wool fibers that are uniform in length and exceptionally resilient are retained, giving the fabric a structured silhouette and natural wrinkle resistance. The addition of 2% cashmere enhances the overall touch, making the surface as soft as clouds and providing a ‘light yet warm’ wearing experience. Through a special weaving technique, wool and cashmere fibers are intertwined to form a subtle two-tone texture on both sides, eliminating the need for lining while giving the garment a streamlined appearance. The fabric weight is precisely controlled at about 280g per square meter, ensuring it doesn’t look bulky when layered and can be worn alone in slightly cool weather.

The coat is made using traditional double-faced wool tailoring techniques, handled by sewers with over 20 years of experience. The garment has no visible exterior seams; the two layers of fabric are accurately aligned using hidden stitching, with 3-4 stitches per centimeter to ensure clean, smooth edges while maintaining the natural drape of the fabric. This not only improves durability but also gives the coat a minimalist, high-end look.

The chest leather patch pocket uses vegetable-tanned calfskin, dyed with plant tannins to present a deep matte black texture. The leather is precisely cut into a uniform square shape and hand-stitched onto the coat to balance tension with the wool fabric, preventing deformation from prolonged wear. The Anagram embossing on the pocket surface is done with a 0.3mm deep steel mold hot-press technique, creating a clear, three-dimensional brand mark with each edge carefully calibrated, ensuring smooth lines and subtle recognizability.

Beneath the regular fit lies millimeter-level precision: the collar angle is set at 85°, maintaining a sharp shirt-style look without restriction around the neck; shoulder width is increased by 2cm from the standard fit, balancing comfort with a casual, relaxed feel.
