MIUMIU Embroidered Piqué Jacket

Using a hot-melt adhesive film process, the piqué fabric is permanently bonded with technical knit fabric, forming a double-layer structure. The outer layer still features the classic textured honeycomb pattern of the piqué, while the bonded layer effectively blocks air flow, providing excellent warmth. The double-layer composite fabric significantly increases thickness and structure, making it less prone to wrinkling and much more resistant to deformation than single-layer piqué, while still retaining the moisture-absorbing and breathable qualities of the piqué.

The chest panels are embroidered using a computer embroidery machine with a highly precise calculation system that controls the head, needle bar, and spool work in coordination. The fabric frame moves accurately in horizontal and vertical directions to form stitch trajectories, adjusting upper and lower thread tension to ensure flat stitches with no floating threads, creating fine patterns with an error margin of ±0.1mm.

The collar, made primarily of wool through a rib knitting process, offers natural elasticity to adapt to different neck shapes, preventing tightness or looseness, and providing more comfortable wear. Even after long-term folding, steam ironing ensures it remains crisp and well-shaped.
